hmmm…do you know, a visit to your blog always makes me think, haha! indeed, what is my passion? i mean, other than this witnessing a child learning and growing and changing everyday before my very eyes; there has got to be more, I believe.
so, as a start---although I am not at all a fan of astrology, but for fun---I searched the web for what the stars tell of my birth sign and I was given this:
If you have Mars in Aries you are probably extremely energetic. You are naturaly bold, daring and independent. You channel an enormous amount of energy and are able to utilise this well. Impatience may hinder your ability to rationalise an action before charging forth. You rarely wait before doing anything; others are often left behind, confused by your eager rush. You are intensely courageous and emotionally straightforward. Your approach to love is fresh and unencumbered by analytical thought. Your actions and speech are emotionally passionate, complimenting the way you communicate. You have vibrant energy and enthusiasm and are lots of fun to be around.
of course, that didn’t get me any nearer to determining what makes me happy, what makes my blood sing, and what brings my system to life. but what choice of words, haha! Well, why not? Being old does not exempt one from being sentimental, au contraire; this particular age makes a lot of us even more so. So let me try to wing it from here.
I’m passionate about a lot of things: book design and layouts, cooking, baking. There’s no describing the feeling of seeing a book you’ve designed get launched, praised, and even nominated for book awards. Besides, my name in the copyright page sort of immortalizes me, I think. but most of all, I’d say my passion lies in the thought of owning a “bramasole” one day. it’s in being able to convert something to everything I want it to be.
that’s it. to say more is to rob others of the space to comment on this blog. :)
PensareD, i'm sure you'd discover yours soon, if you haven't already.

bramasole. merci for stopping by. yes, how strange sometimes words (from the stars) seem to say divine words. =)
your own bramasole... yes, i can see you there now, tucked in a your own corner of the word, writing your memoirs. here's to a good journey!
i'm still taking my time to rediscover mine. i'm sure its in there, hidden in the rush of the present, waiting to guide my future (again).
